Bonus 4: Additional Reflections

  1. Tell about health challenges throughout your life, including any significant medical events.
  2. List the different places you lived throughout your life and describe them. Include years that you lived each place.
  3. Do you have a “bucket list?” What is on your bucket list and/or what dreams or goals do you wish to accomplish? What ones have you completed? What do you still want to accomplish in life?
  4. What advice do you have for your posterity?
  5. Write about how you like to spend your leisure time.
  6. Are you a cook? Include copies of your favorite recipes. Tell food- and kitchen-related memories.
  7. Consider the personal values that are most important to you. Describe them and tell how you shared or taught them to others.
  8. Write about the happiest days you can remember throughout your life.
  9. Write about the hardest thing you ever had to do.
  10. What guides your decisions? Write how you make decisions.
  11. Write about cultural influences in your life, including any music, literature, movies, etc., that have impacted you.
  12. Think about specific songs that are important or memorable to you. Write about them and the memories that make them important.
  13. How would you describe your personality? How do others describe you?
  14. Do you have any “inside jokes” with friends or family? Write about them and the person you share them with!
  15. What is your philosophy about money?
  16. What is your most treasured possession (something money can buy) and why?
  17. If you could travel back in time, what would you do differently or change?
  18. Do you have major regrets in life? Write them if you wish. What lessons have you learned from your regrets?
  19. What do you want your legacy to be? For what do you want to be remembered?
  20. If you wish, write a draft of your eulogy or obituary.
